H.E.W. - "H.E.W. Live" (1972 TEXAS Private-Pressing Psych/Pop)

A nice mix of inventive Texas roots rock, power pop / ballad, rock, psych folk and good vocals.
Three songs are arranged by Chris Dedrick of the psychedelic pop psych group Free Design, including a rare performance of Chris' "Brown Horizon", which was to be included on his unreleased LP from 1971/1972 called "Be Free".

KARL RICHEY - "Same" ('Studio 10' US 1969)

Obscure acid 'real people' head from San Francisco who released this great and only LP.
10 deep songs where Karl goes for broke with deep conviction vocals, supporting himself on acoustic guitar and sometimes with a Dylanesque harmonica.

The second LP by our Irish troubadour (recorded in Bruxelles).
Less rare but better than his first one.
Half of the songs are sung in Gaelic.
One of my top discoveries of these last months !
