Romano - "... All About Love" (Spin-Et Records) : Private pressing oddball folk lounge SSW with an odd accent.

An Italian immigrant calling himself 'Romano' recorded this collection of folk songs sung in Leonard-Cohen-with-Italian-accent bluster... Romano was one earnest and enthusiastic crooner, and the covers on side A come out sounding both odd and pretty. (review by Jason on RYM)

Gérard Peilhon & Jean-Marc André - Justice et Injustice (Rare 1971 French Xian Folk LP on Jef)

 

 

A nice Xian folk rock LP with organ and electric guitar. B-Side has drums and even a a long protest song called "Munich" that sounds a bit like Jefferson Airplane's "Somebody to Love" with acidic guitar.
